Some celebrities aren’t just part of Hollywood’s inner circle or famous family trees — many are related by marriage, like Jon Bon Jovi and Stranger Things alum Millie Bobby Brown.

The Bon Jovi frontman has sung the praises of his daughter-in-law, who married his son, Jake Bongiovi, in May 2024.

“She’s a sweetheart, and she’s a hard worker,” Bon Jovi said of Brown during an appearance on the Dumb Blonde podcast in September 2025. “I tell her all the time how much I admire her because her work ethic is unbelievable.”

The couple has since made the rock legend “a giddy, goofy grandfather” of three. In September 2026, a source told PEOPLE that Brown and Jake had welcomed their second child through adoption. (Bon Jovi’s eldest son, Jesse, also has a daughter.)

“He’s the best and so is Dorothea [Bongiovi], my amazing mother-in-law,” Brown told Today show co-hosts Savannah Guthrie and Willie Geist in June 2026. “They’re the most present grandparents, and we couldn’t be luckier to have them in her life.”

Diana Ross and Ashlee Simpson are bound by more than a love for music, with Ashlee marrying the superstar singer’s son, Evan Ross, in August 2014. Then there are comedians Martin Lawrence and Eddie Murphy. The former costars have more in common than making people laugh, thanks to their kids tying the knot in May 2025.

A month before Brown and Jake secretly married in Italy in May 2024, the groom’s dad, musician Bon Jovi, shared what impressed him most about his now-daughter-in-law.

“I’ve gotten to know her in the last year, she works really hard, and she and Jake will grow together in their own way,” he told the U.K.’s The Times. “It is an accelerated version of what I went through 40 years ago, and I think, with the support of family around them, they’re gonna be great together.”

Brown and Jake married in their early 20s, and the Enola Holmes star later shared that they looked up to their parents, who also tied the knot early in life.

“His parents got married really young — they’re high school sweethearts,” Brown said in a March 2025 episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast. “My parents got married really young. They met when they were 19. So we had just, like, really young marriages. We had really great role models growing up, so we didn’t see any different. We didn’t get jaded by all the other stuff, you know?”

The pair, who live on a farm in Georgia, welcomed their first child, a daughter, via adoption in the summer of 2025. They also reportedly welcomed their second child, a son, through adoption. Brown shared a photo with their two kidson Instagram in September 2026.

After starring together in 1992’s Boomerang and 1999’s Life, Murphy and Lawrence likely didn’t imagine they’d one day be family. However, that changed when Murphy’s son Ericproposed to Lawrence’s daughterJasmin in November 2024.

Initially, the comedians agreed on who would foot the bill for the wedding, with Lawrence revealing on Sherri in January 2025: “[Eddie] said, ‘I paid for the last six weddings.’ You know, ‘cause Eddie got a lot of children. So, he said, ‘[You’re] paying for this one.’ I don’t have a problem with it.”

However, five months later, Murphy revealed that Eric and Jasmin, who went public with their relationship in June 2021, had chosen a quiet church ceremony instead.

“They went off, everybody was making the big wedding plans, and then they decided they wanted to do something quiet with just the two of them,” Murphy shared on The Jennifer Hudson Show in May 2025, about two weeks after his son and now-daughter-in-law tied the knot.

He added of Lawrence, “We’re in-laws! He [doesn’t] have to pay for the big wedding now.”

In February 2026, Jasmin and Eric announced on Instagram that they were expecting their first child together. The couple later welcomed their daughter, Ari Skye, in April 2026.

“I’m a grandpa!” Lawrence told the audience while onstage during his comedy tour. “Me and Eddie Murphy share a grandchild! That baby is going to be funny as s---.”

The Mercy (2026) actor — who shares three children with Katherine and an older son, Jack, from his previous marriage to Anna Faris — later told PEOPLE that the family ties still feel surreal.

“Just being [Arnold’s] son-in-law and being part of his family, it obviously means a lot to have his support,” Pratt said in May 2023. “But then on another level, just being somebody who grew up loving his movies, the big action hero — I dreamed of being Commando and dreamed of being the soldier from Predator, and I loved Terminator. So him to give me kudos for going out and being on the marquee is really kind of mind-blowing.”

Pratt is also brother-in-law to Katherine’s siblings, including The White Lotus actor Patrick Schwarzenegger, who appeared alongside Pratt on The Terminal List in 2022.

During a March 2025 appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Patrick credited Pratt with offering useful audition advice that helped him book the gig.

“My brother-in-law actually told me [that] when you’re auditioning, that in the first couple [of] seconds, the casting director or the director will kind of know if you’re right for the role — and [that I should] try to do something unique,” Patrick said. “So for the first five or 10 seconds before the scene started, I just kind of locked in and had a little romantic moment with the camera.”
