Lara Trump shared that her younger brother-in-law Barron Trump prefers to stay out of the spotlight despite knowing that there's public "interest" in him
She theorized on her podcast that people are so interested in Barron because he rarely appears in public
Lara, who is married to Eric Trump, also said Barron is "excited to finish up college" and start working
Lara Trump is shedding light on what her brother-in-law, Barron Trump, is like behind the scenes — and why he prefers to stay in the shadows.
The podcast host, 43, answered questions from listeners in an episode of The Right View with Lara Trump, released earlier in April, including one that asked, "What is Barron Trump like? Does he like that the entire internet is obsessed with him?"
"I feel like he's the sleeper," said Lara, who is married to Barron's half-brother Eric Trump. "You want to hear more about Barron 'cause you see less of him. And I think that's kind of cool."

Lara said that she isn't sure if her 20-year-old brother-in-law realizes the internet is "obsessed" with him, but he "knows that there's a lot of interest," which is "why he likes to lay low."
"That's why he likes to play it cool. That's why you don't see him all the time," she explained, saying that the family knows him as smart and someone with a good sense of humor. "It's crazy because I've seen Barron grow up, which means I'm 160 years old. ... But he's turned out to be a really great kid."
She added that Barron, who is studying business at New York University in Washington, D.C., is "excited to finish up college."
"I think he's got two years left of college, but he's excited to finish college and get out and work, which I love," she said.

Lara also said that Barron is fully aware of "what's going on out there" in the world.
"In fact, we had a huge discussion at dinner on Sunday night at the White House about whether a certain image, I won't tell you what it is, was AI or real," she said. "And Barron and I were the only two that said, 'That's AI. You guys are all wrong. It's AI.' We were right. Proved it that night."
When Barron turned 20 in March, a source told PEOPLE that he's preparing for his "next phase" of life, which includes business deals such as SOLLOS Yerba Mate drinks, for which he is a co-founder and director.
“Barron has inherited his father’s interest in making money and a name for himself, and is well on the way to becoming an entrepreneur,” a social source told PEOPLE. “He is always looking for areas that interest him and is quite ambitious for such a young age.”

The source said at the time that Barron has "been actively pursuing successful ventures for several years."
“Turning 20 is indeed a turning point for him as he gets older and wants to engage with projects that not only interest him, but will make him a lot of money," they said.
