Famous American TV personality Carson Daly has built a strong reputation as the longtime host of The Voice. He has been part of the show for 15 years and has hosted 30 seasons since its debut.

However, a surprising update has emerged, as the 53-year-old host has reportedly decided to step away from the show.

With 29 seasons already behind it, The Voice is ready for its next chapter as NBC brings Season 30 to viewers on Sept. 21, 2026.

Fans will still see Carson Daly as the host in Season 30 because the show had already recorded the episodes before his reported departure. However, according to multiple reports, this season will mark Daly’s final appearance as the show’s host.

According to The Sun, “Carson Daly is out. He’s not hosting Season 31. He wasn’t able to make the upcoming season’s schedule work with his Today Show schedule.”

“So his Today workload mixed with not wanting to be away from family this next year made him say ‘no’ to hosting 31,” the source added.

Talking about Carson Daly’s personal life, he lives in New York with his wife, Siri, whom he married in 2015, and their four children.

Although Daly will not return as the host for The Voice Season 31, according to insiders, he could still remain an important part of the show in a different role.

An insider said, “He remains an executive producer on it and the door is open if he wants to return for Season 32.”

It remains unclear whether Carson Daly will return for Season 32. Meanwhile, reports suggest Keke Palmer could step in as the host of The Voice Season 31.

Talking about Keke Palmer, she is an American actress, singer, and TV host. She has previously hosted NBC’s popular game show Password.
