President Donald Trump's height was put to the test again as the 80-year-old stood side-by-side with longtime friend and boxing legend Mike Tyson at a MAGA rally in New York.

Trump and Tyson have a friendship dating back to the 80s when the President promoted the boxing legend's fights in Atlantic City. Their loyalty to one another has endured over the years, with Trump able to count on Tyson as both a friend and a supporter of his political career.

And so, it was no surprise to see Tyson up on stage again with Trump, this time at a MAGA rally in Syracuse, New York, on Friday, as the President ramped up his campaigning for Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Blakeman ahead of the November midterms. However, Trump's height was again exposed just weeks after it was on full display with Dennis Rodman's tiny girlfriend.

Trump is listed as standing 6ft 3in tall; however, he appeared close to the same size as Tyson, who stands at 5ft 10in.

Having already written himself into the history books for a wide range of reasons, Trump's listed height would make him the third-tallest U.S. President in history, only behind Abraham Lincoln and Lyndon B. Johnson, who were both 6ft4in.

Trump's height being called into question alongside Tyson isn't the first time the President has brushed shoulders with some of sport's biggest stars.

Last year, Trump met with Cristiano Ronaldo at the White House, and the soccer star towered over Trump, who also appeared to be the same height as golfer Adam Scott when they were pictured together at the Presidents Cup.

Per a recent Mirror U.S. poll, 97% of 4,500 respondents said they believed Trump is lying about his height.

Trump joked, "I don't wanna fight him," before bringing Tyson up.

"I see somebody in the audience that I will never fight, I promise. But I remember when Mike [Tyson] was in his prime, when he was the heavyweight champion of the world," Trump said.

"He'd stand in the corner, and his people would all be holding him back. He wanted to kill whoever it was," Trump said.

"He was a very dangerous person, actually, and he was one of the greatest fighters in history."

In return, Tyson expressed his support for Trump by calling him "my President," a strong show of their connection. "Thank you very much," Tyson said.

"I'm just happy to be here with my President, President Trump, and there's no way in the world I would ever be here if it wasn't for a president like Donald Trump. Thank you."
