President Donald Trump was photographed with an unusually prominent bulge protruding from his rear, prompting social media users to joke that he might be "turning into a centaur."

Trump was snapped walking with Mike Tyson on Friday ahead of bringing the legendary boxer to his rally in Syracuse, New York. However, observers couldn't help but remark on the president's peculiar stance.

Journalist Aaron Rupar posted the image of Trump and Tyson with the caption, "Trump is turning into a centaur. Look at the hindquarters on this thing."

One commenter alleged, "Apparently, Trump is stress eating. His diet is atrocious, so he's packing on the pounds." Another puzzled observer asked, "What is that thing in his backside?"

This isn't the first occasion people have noted Trump's peculiar posture. Earlier this week, critic David Pakman highlighted the president's unusual stance during a rally at the Pinnacle Bank Expo Center in Grand Island, Nebraska.

He remarked, "This is Trump hinging forward in an almost gravity-defying position that we've seen him do before."

Pakman suggested that Trump's stance might be linked to a particular medical condition, noting, "Now, this alone doesn't tell us anything definitive about Trump, but there is a position that is common to people suffering with frontotemporal dementia in which they sort of lean forward exactly the way Trump is doing right now.

"Now, it is not the gravity-defying lean of Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal, but it's sort of going in that direction, and it's very weird. And Trump's upper body is forward. His legs seem to somehow be behind him."

Frontotemporal dementia is a rarer type of dementia, impacting behavior and language. The condition can also affect individuals physically, resulting in sluggish or rigid movements, loss of bladder or bowel control, and/or weakened muscles.

Despite considerable discussion about the 80-year-old president's well-being, both the White House and the president continue to assert he is in "excellent" physical and cognitive health. White House physician Dr. Sean Barbabella stated earlier this year that Trump was "fully fit to carry out all duties of the Commander-in-Chief and Head of State."
