Former Disney Channel star Joey Bragg, 30, says he once got “blackout drunk” at the home of Kevin Bacon and his wife Kyra Sedgwick, with whom Bragg starred in the short-lived ABC sitcom Call Your Mother.
Bragg, who previously appeared on the Disney Channel series Liv and Maddie, opened up about the incident in a video shared on Instagram.
“One time, I blacked out at Kevin Bacon’s house,” he said. “It’s like my worst memory that I have, and I don’t even have a memory of it.”

Explaining that he has “a hard time drinking and not blacking out,” Bragg said he went to the couple’s house when they hosted a wrap party for Call Your Mother.
Upon entering the home, Bragg said meeting Bacon, 68, felt like something out of a movie.
“Slow reveal: these ashen leather boots, these tight faded blue jeans, this belt buckle that in my imagination says X-Men: First Class, but I doubt that it actually did, and then reveals a tight, denim button-up shirt and one Mr. Kevin Bacon,” the latter of whom he described as “a really nice guy.”
“I love Kyra. I love Kevin,” Bragg added.

Bragg continued, saying the evening was “such a good night up until the point where I can’t remember the rest.”
“We were hanging out. I was probably drinking too much. It was around COVID time, so like, you know, we all forgot how to act. The last thing I remember is, we’re sitting at this, like, dining room table. Kevin Bacon’s like plucking at a guitar,” he said, adding that Bacon then pulled out a mandolin and asked if anyone knew how to play.
“And little stupid, overconfident Joey remembers that one time my brother got a mandolin for Christmas, and I learned how to play the beginning of ‘Losing My Religion’ by R.E.M,” Bragg described, adding: “And at that time I was like, ‘I know how to play the mandolin. I can play ‘Losing My Religion’ by R.E.M.’ ”

He continued: “He handed me the mandolin, and as soon as he handed me the mandolin, I was like, ‘This feels alien to me. I have never held one of these ever before, ever, ever, ever. Oh my gosh.’ And I was like, ‘One second,’ one more sip of my drink, and — gone, blacked out. Do not remember the rest.”
The rest of the night, he added, was a blur, and after the ABC sitcom was canceled, “both Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon unfollowed me on Instagram.”
