With CBS back with its staple procedural for Fall 2026, Thursdays are shaping up to be a treat for fans. In addition to the return of the Young Sheldon spin-off, the Thursday lineup features a new season of Elsbeth and two new series, Eternally Yours and Cupertino.

Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage Season 3 marks the return of Montana Jordan as Georgie Cooper and Emily Osment as Amanda "Mandy" McAllister, along with the ensemble cast, including Rachel Bay Jones, Will Sasso, Dougie Baldwin, Jessie Prez, Zoe Perry, Raegan Revord and Annie Potts.

To jog your memory, the Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage Season 2 finale ended on a major cliffhanger, with Mary and Georgie locking heads over the latter's business rival, Fred Fagenbacher. After George Sr.'s death, Mary was finally ready to date and sparks flew between her and her son's biggest rival. While Fred maintained he had changed, Georgie gave Mary an ultimatum, asking her to choose between Fred and the Cooper family. The Season 2 finale saw Mary asking Fred on a date, setting up tensions in the Cooper family in the upcoming season.

The preview for Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage Season 3 Episode 1 teased that Mandy and the family will be roped into the feud, but they will side with Mary. Speaking with TV Line, co-creator Steve Holland teased that the rift between Georgie and Mary will be at the centre of the Season 3 premiere, which will not only put Mandy in a difficult position but will also create problems in the household:

"That's the key relationship. These are both stubborn characters. Neither one of them is going to want to back down, and that also puts Mandy in the middle."

While theYoung Sheldon spin-off has explored Georgie's rivalry with many enemies, it will be interesting to see how he will fight back against his own mother.

Elsewhere, Connor will turn to Georgie in the Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage Season 3 premiere after getting himself arrested while on tour with his girlfriend Chloe.

The Young Sheldon spin-off series will be followed by the new comedy Eternally Yours at 8:30 p.m., Elsbeth's latest season at 9 p.m. and the platform's new drama Cupertino at 10 p.m.
