In Taylor Swift's new Disney+ docuseries, Gracie Abrams joked she was nearly "projectile vomiting" ahead of her performance in Toronto at the Eras Tour

Sharing the stage with Taylor Swift at the Eras Tour was a dream come true for Gracie Abrams — but it did bring out her stage fright.
In the fifth episode of the Disney+ docuseries Taylor Swift: The End of an Era, the "Blowing Smoke" singer opened up about getting to sing with Swift at her Eras Tour stop in Toronto, Canada — and the nerves that overcame her beforehand.
It all started with their collaboration "Us," which was nominated for a Grammy days before the Eras Tour show in Toronto.
"We were very lucky, we got six nominators. And one of those was for a song I did with Gracie while we were still on The Eras Tour a year ago," Swift, 36, says in the docuseries.
"This time last year, she and I went out to celebrate in between shows. We ended up having a lot of drinks. And then we ended up writing a song that we’re really proud of and it just got nominated for a Grammy," she continues. "So I just thought, 'Wouldn’t it be cool to do that song in Toronto, kind of create a special moment?'"
Then, Abrams, 26, says Swift had the idea to do "Us" and "Out of the Woods," which is her in her "top three favorite songs of all time," at the show.
In a clip of them working on the medley — where Swift has a cold — Abrams praised her for being a "mastermind."
"It’s just insane. She can do that in her sleep where it’s like, 'I’m gonna chop up two to five songs and make them all'… She’s just a mastermind," she explains, adding that she needs to "write in Sharpie on my arm, 'Don’t pass out, the structure of the song.'"
She jokingly adds, "Catch me projectile vomiting on the Eras Stage."
In addition to the show in Toronto, Abrams also joined Swift on stage during her shows in Cincinnati, Ohio, London and Vancouver.

In an interview with Sofia Coppola for ELLE in January, the "I Love You, I'm Sorry" singer detailed what it was like opening for her on tour.
“To be in the same orbit as Taylor and her entire team, from her dancers, to her band, to the crew, being in the same vicinity as a group of people who are so committed to making something extraordinary happen every single night of the show, it’s a privilege to see it all go down," Abrams told the publication.
She also shared her reaction after learning they were nominated for a Grammy.
“It’s such a crazy, full-circle thing to be nominated for a Grammy with Taylor, who I grew up idolizing. Especially all of her moments at the Grammys over the years have been so ingrained and burned in my head," the "That's So True" songstress said.
