Gypsy Rose Blanchard has revealed her ex-fiancé told her he was "deeply distressed" by the tensions involving his sister in their final phone conversation.

Ken Urker was found dead by Gypsy Rose's brother Dylan at his home in Raceland, Louisiana, on his 34th birthday. He died after family members called police saying he was in a "dark place" and owned a gun.

Following Ken's death, his sister Autumn hit out at Gypsy Rose and claimed in a TikTok video they had recently broken up. Autumn then accused Gypsy Rose of leaking the news of Ken's death. Gypsy Rose has now responded and said she discussed the family drama in her final phone call with Ken.

"During my final phone conversation with Ken on Monday, September 28, he told me that he was deeply distressed by the situation [with Autumn]," she told US Weekly. "He said that Autumn had repeatedly threatened to ‘go harder’ publicly and further contribute to the negative commentary and scrutiny he was already experiencing."

In her new statement, Gypsy Rose added, "I would much rather use my voice to focus on that work and on preserving Ken’s legacy than continue a public family dispute. I sincerely hope everyone can allow Ken to be remembered for the person and father he was rather than allowing disagreements among those who loved him to overshadow his life."

Ken was found dead on his 34th birthday. Gypsy Rose said she sent Ken a "happy birthday" message on October 1, but he did not reply. When her brother and his wife later went to Ken's home to have dinner with him, they found him dead.

Autumn has disputed this. In a social media video, she said, "Gypsy had no right to lie and say that it was because of some text that she sent to him." Autumn said the couple had split "over a month ago."

She also slammed Gypsy-Rose for allegedly claiming "they were engaged and planning a baby number two," however, "none of that was true." Autumn added, "It’s a slap in the face. You don’t have to lie and make it seem like something."

Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office confirmed Ken's death, saying they "responded to a residence" on Thursday "after receiving a call at 6.15 p.m." The sheriff's office told TMZ, "We responded to a residence in Raceland today after receiving a call at 6.15pm. Kenan Urker, 34, was found dead upon arrival. At this time, we are continuing the death investigation."

The publication also reported that before Ken's death, his family members contacted law enforcement dispatchers because he wasn't answering his phone and had failed to turn up to work.

The caller claimed Ken was in a "dark place," had threatened to commit suicide and owned a gun. Another caller later claimed Ken had "killed himself" and wanted to know if he was okay.

Deputies responded to Ken's home on Thursday evening for a welfare check after the concerned phone call. Family friends later entered the property through a bedroom window and found Ken unconscious and cold on his bed.

Officials said they found syringes and a spoon next to a brown powdery substance in Ken's bathroom. Another syringe, two shot glasses, and a holstered handgun were found on the nightstand. The report does not indicate that the gun had been fired or that it was used in Ken's death.
