Hailee Steinfeld is sharing a sweet red carpet moment she had with Adam Sandler at the 2026 Golden Globes
The Sinners star detailed their interaction in her weekly newsletter, Beau Society

Hailee Steinfeld is beyond proud to have Adam Sandler’s support.
The Sinners star, 29, couldn’t help but gush with excitement about a red carpet run-in with the famed actor at the Golden Globes.
While recapping the Jan. 11 event where she “got to put on a gorgeous Prada dress to spend a night out with my new plus one and reconnect with friends I haven’t seen in years,” Steinfeld shared her special encounter with Sandler, 59, in her Substack newsletter, Beau Society.

After documenting a reunion with Jennifer Lawrence, she told her readers all about her interaction with the Happy Gilmore 2 actor.
“For context, Adam Sandler is a permanent fixture in our house. We always have one of his movies on (the other night it was Just Go With It),” she began.
Steinfeld then admitted, “He even inspired our Halloween costumes a few years ago.”
The Dickinson actress linked a Beau Society entry from October 2025 with throwback photos of her celebrating the festive holiday throughout the years.
Within the post was a picture from “a few years ago” of her with her husband, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, as the two dressed as “Bobby Boucher” and “Vicki Vallencourt." The characters were played by Sandler and Fairuza Balk, respectively, in his 1998 film The Waterboy.
“So when Adam Sandler waved me down by the entrance to the Globes, and said, ‘Hey, buddy! I loved Sinners! You’re doing amazing. And congrats to Josh!' I could not wait to tell my husband,” she wrote.

The couple, who made their relationship Instagram official in July 2024 before getting married in May 2025, announced they were pregnant with their first child in December.
During a newsletter shared that month, Steinfeld included a video posing in the snow with her pregnant belly out as Allen kissed her stomach for their pregnancy reveal.

The Hawkeye actress and the sports star smiled as she wore a fleece that read "mother" across it. As the camera panned out, the two held hands in front of a tiny snowman.
Following the Beau Society announcement, they also shared the news in a joint Instagram post with the same video. "I love you ❤️," Allen commented on the clip.
