It is no secret that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle remain unpopular as Brits continue to resent their spoilt behaviour. They are languishing at the bottom of the leaderboard when it comes to who in the Royal Family the British public likes the most.

A whopping 65% of Britons view the Duchess of Sussex negatively, and 58% are not keen on her husband. What else can they expect?

The couple abandoned their duties after Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II stood firm, denying them a "half-in, half-out" arrangement.

Harry and Meghan subsequently fled and tried to become Hollywood bigwigs, but this has seemingly failed, and they have returned to Blighty.

They should feel embarrassed, but, given their entitled behaviour, I bet they still think they are and have been in the right all along. After the King made his thoughts clear - that Harry and Meghan remain private citizens - the couple lashed out, insisting they are "public figures".

They also continue to push for taxpayer-funded security, and there has been a huge fuss about their children's schooling. What they need to understand is that they are no longer important.

They gave up their significance as working royals when they had their tantrum six years ago. What Harry and Meghan should do now is look to other non-working members of the Firm and emulate them.

Zara and Mike Tindall, who seem to be getting along just fine without security funded by the taxpayer, do not generate nearly as many headlines or gossip as the Sussexes continue to do. They know full well that they are not core members of the monarch's top team - and only appear in public during select occasions, such as Royal Ascot, garden parties at Buckingham Palace, important services at Westminster Abbey and family events like Princess Catherine's Christmas carol concerts and the Christmas Day church service at Sandringham.

Mike Tindall also has his own podcast, The Good, The Bad & The Rugby, on which his mother-in-law, Princess Anne, recently appeared. Whenever they speak in public, Mike and Zara come across as charming and down to earth, and not moaning minnies.

Mike himself has remarked that Harry used to be fun. They have also guarded the privacy of members of the Royal Family, not seeking to stir up drama for their own benefit in the manner Harry has tried with his memoir Spare, or Meghan attempted in a Netflix documentary and interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Mike and Zara have instead exhibited humility and remained loyal and helpful - something the Sussexes might want to try.
