Jessica Simpson seemingly marked a new milestone with rumored boyfriend Thomas Eisenhood on October 4.

The “I Wanna Love You Forever” singer stepped out publicly with the musician for the first time in New Mexico.

Simpson’s outing with Eisenhood comes almost two years after her separation from estranged husband Eric Johnson.

Jessica Simpson’s rumored relationship with Thomas Eisenhood appears to be heating up just in time for cuffing season. In photos obtained by TMZ, the “I Wanna Love You Forever” singer appeared to take her new romance public for the first time with a bucket list morning date in New Mexico on October 4.

Simpson—who first sparked romance rumors with the Nashville musician in April—took the rumored couple’s burgeoning romance to new heights at the Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque. Per the publication, the Employee of the Month actress appeared to want to keep a low profile as she and Eisenhood strolled through the park in the early hours of Sunday morning.

However, Simpson didn’t hesitate to share a sweet PDA moment with the baritone saxophone player when they were asked if they wanted a photo together, per eyewitnesses. Sources told TMZthat “Jessica handed over her phone without saying a word, while Thomas wrapped his arm around her shoulders and Jessica rested her head on him.”

Simpson—who separated from her estranged husband Eric Johnson in  January 2025—embraced a westerncore style moment with a denim collared shirt, a cognac brown suede fringe jacket, and trendy pink-framed black oval sunglasses.

The Dukes of Hazzard actress was back to her signature platinum blonde hair after a brief brunette hiatus, styling her buttery waist-length tresses in middle-parted mermaid waves. The 46-year-old star held a red knit sweater in one hand, coordinating with Eisenhood, who bundled up for the hot air balloon ride in a bright red hoodie.

People confirmed that Simpson—who shares kids Maxwell, 14; Ace, 13; and Birdie, 7; with Johnson—was dating Eisenhood in April, citing an insider who reported, “She’s happy. She’s in a great place, excited for her future.”

A source told Us Weekly in June that the rumored couple had “spent a lot of time together” as “Tom was on tour with Jessica on and off for the past few months.”

“Tom has been in the music industry for a long time,” they explained. “He tours a lot, so they spent a lot of time together by working closely. He is a very low-key guy and Jessica likes that about him.”
