Khloé Kardashian is pulling the curtain back on her family's famously festive Christmas Eve bash.

In a new interview with mom Kris Jenner, Kardashian revealed the five sisters (and their sole brother Rob) all chip in for the party, in part because it's become so associated with the family name. They've been throwing the party in some form since 1978, Jenner explained.

"We all equally split the cost of the party," Kardashian, 41, said during a Dec. 17 episode of her podcast, "Khloe in Wonder Land."

"It's a family [thing]," she added.

"It gets really crazy," Jenner said. "I think one of the most fun things, too, is to be able to share things with our friends. We've always been able to give out some amazing gifts at the end of the party. Or if we're working on something, like we had Kim's Beats and Skims."

While the mother-daughter duo did not spill this year's theme, they did let slip that Kendall Jenner will be hosting the bash – and that event planner to the stars Mindy Weiss is handling the details.

"I don't want that many people in my home," Kardashian joked, adding that she was glad hosting duties didn't fall to her. She went on to thank her mom for "saving" her from that responsibility. "They were like, 'Kim's house is under construction and so is Kourtney's house.' I don't know what's going on with Kylie's and why that wasn't an option. Then you were like, 'Let's put it at Kendall's.' I was so happy."

Jenner is just the latest family member to stop by Kardashian's podcast, which has been growing in popularity since its January launch. The new project, one of many in the Kardashian media and retail empire, has spawned several buzzy moments, from Photoshop editing revelations to battling melanoma.
