Lara Trump burst into laughter and told viewers, “enjoy this moment,” as she reacted to President Donald Trump mocking Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico over a so-called “beat meat” campaign.
On an episode of her podcast, The Right View with Lara Trump, the 43-year-old wife of Eric Trump played a clip of the president repeating false claims that Talarico, who is running for Senate in Texas, is vegan or began a campaign to “beat meat.”
She acknowledged that she didn’t know if her father-in-law’s claim that Talarico vomited after eating meat was even true. It comes after Lara Trump was mocked as she used AI to remodel concrete room for Nicki Minaj interview.

Lara played a clip of Trump speaking to Republicans at the midterm convention in Dallas, Texas, during which the president falsely accused Talarico of running a campaign to “beat meat.”
“He was also somebody that hated eating meat, but he ran a campaign to beat meat. He called it beat meat. I don’t know what the hell he meant by that,” Trump snickered during his speech.
“These people are going to tell me, ‘What the hell is he, he wants to beat meat?’ But it was bad for his image, so he started eating meat,” he claimed before laughing. “And he recently — it’s getting worse. I’m getting myself in trouble. It’s getting worse.”

“But he was recently seen having a barbecue and eating a lot of meat. But that’s what happened. He ate it, and then he was seen running backstage to a room and throwing up all over the place,” Trump concluded.

“Wait, did he actually throw up all over the place? If he did, wow!” the Fox News host immediately responded to the clip of Trump, without knowing whether the claim was accurate.
“First of all, can we just acknowledge we are never going to have another president ever again… like Donald Trump. This man is one of a kind. God, how much are you going to miss this when he’s gone? Enjoy this moment,” she continued to praise the president.
“Look, these midterm election rallies are really the last true times we’re going to see Donald Trump in this capacity as our president out on the campaign trail, you know, in this way. I mean, maybe in 2028 to some extent,” Lara added. “But the stakes are obviously very high for him in this midterm, so he’s out there, full throttle. I love it; I love all of it. He’s getting himself in trouble.”

Lara then continued to falsely call Talarico a vegan while going on a tirade about his campaign in Texas.
Talarico has repeatedly denied being a vegetarian or vegan, and the inaccurate claim has been debunked, as Talarico has been photographed and captured on video footage eating meat. There is also no evidence to support Trump’s claim that Talarico vomited after eating meat, as fact-checked by The New York Times.
He denied the bizarre claims in an interview, saying, “I’m an eighth-generation Texan. I’ve been eating barbecue since before Ken Paxton’s first indictment.”
“And if all they have on me is lying about me being a vegan, I feel pretty good about our chances this November,” Talarico quipped in response.
