Perez Hilton's podcast co-host Chris Booker has now spoken out in the wake of the controversial blogger's self-harm livestream incident, revealing the fate of the Perez Hilton Podcast.

"I am so profoundly sad for Perez and his family and what they're all going through. It's truly unimaginable," Booker penned in a statement he published on Instagram Wednesday, August 5. "I have spoken only briefly with the family. I read the statement that his team released and want to honor their wishes at this impossible time."

Booker continued, admitting that even Hilton's family was "struggling to get updates due to the confidential security measures in place at the hospital because of how many people are trying to get information."

He promised that future updates would be published on the PerezHilton.com going forward, later noting of his podcast with Hilton, that "it's all TBD at the moment as our collective focus is on his health."

Booker continued, "I certainly hope to continue [shows] with my friend when the time is appropriate. I will give updates there when the time is right. We've done these shows for over a decade now and the support from our listeners has been resounding. He is very loved. I can only hope that he feels it. Heal up friend."

Hours before Booker, Hilton's family gave a statement in the aftermath of his seemingly mental breakdown.

"Many of you have reached out with concern for Perez, and we are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming outpouring of love, support, and prayers. We can confirm that Perez is receiving medical care, and our family’s focus right now is on his well-being," Hilton's family shared in a statement published on his main website.

The message continued, "We kindly ask that you respect Perez’s privacy, as well as the privacy of his family, during this difficult time. If and when we are able to share any updates, we will do so with everyone as soon as we can. Thank you for your compassion, understanding, and continued support."

Hilton's troubling video that resulted in police involvement captured him bloody with visible cuts and holding a knife, according to NBC News.

Hilton previously drew concern after he appeared to self-harm during a livestream

On Tuesday, August 4, the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office confirmed to People that officers were alerted to an individual broadcasting “acts of self-harm” during a livestream. Later deputies went to the individual’s home and spoke with his family, who confirmed the person was home alone.

Following the incident, Hilton's agent, Dante Rusciolelli, addressed the situation with Us Weekly. Rusciolelli expressed, "At this time, we do not have any additional confirmed information to share regarding Perez Hilton's condition. Our focus remains on Perez’s health, recovery, and the privacy of both him and his family during this incredibly difficult time."
