Selena Gomez and Jennifer Stone are having a magical reunion!
The actresses, who recently reprised their roles as best friends Alex Russo (Gomez) and Harper Finkle (Stone) for Disney’s Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, have treated fans to an old classic, the “Crazy Funky Junky Hat” song!
The pair were filmed singing and performing the routine to the iconic track — which debuted in season 1 of the original show, Wizards of Waverly Place — in an Instagram video shared the by the sitcoms’ official Instagram account on Wednesday, Aug. 5.
“A beanie?” Gomez, 34, is heard asking, before breaking into the nostalgic song with Stone, 33.
“What’s that? A hat! Crazy, funky, junky hat. Overslept, hair unsightly, trying to look like Keira Knightley. We’ve been there, we’ve done that, we see right through your funky hat,” they sang.
They also flawlessly performed the dance routine, picking up where they left off almost two decades ago.

“This means so much to me you don’t understand,” one wrote. “My childhood ❤️❤️,” another said. “Childhood came rushing back 💜,” a third added.
“Like no time has passed 🥹💜 Alex and Harper reunite in the Wizards Beyond Waverly Place 4-Part Finale Event, available now on Disney+,” the account captioned the post.
In the original series, which ran from 2007 to 2013, Stone played a mortal, and Gomez was cast as a wizard in training. The Disney sitcom followed a wizarding family with three kids training to compete for sole possession of the family’s magical powers.

“It made my heart so happy to be working with @selenagomez and @greggsulkin jumping right back into our comedy roots as if no time had passed. Thank you to @disneychannel and the entire @disneywizardsbeyond cast and crew for the gift of getting to step into Harper’s themed shoes once again,” she added.
