The pop superstar asked her mom if she could make her now-fiancé a rib dish that he likes, revealing that the NFL star "affectionately calls [them] dinosaur bones"

Taylor Swift’s mom made sure her future son-in-law, Travis Kelce, was well-fed during Thanksgiving.
In the fifth new episode of Taylor's Disney+ docuseries The End of an Era, released on Tuesday, Dec. 23, the singer, 36, asked her mom, Andrea Swift, to cook her fiancé Kelce’s favorite Thanksgiving dish of ribs during a backstage moment during the Eras Tour in Toronto in November 2024.
Andrea, 67, suggested to Taylor backstage during one of the tour stops in the city that she try something different with the turkey for Thanksgiving. “Have you ever heard of spatchcocking a turkey? I think I might be trying that this Thanksgiving,” Andrea said.
“I don’t know if we should get jazzy with the turkey. Remember when we tried to fry one?” Taylor replied.
“That was a disaster,” Andrea recalled. “I think we had an oil patch in our yard for about six months, but besides that, it was inedible.”

Taylor then put in a special meal request to her mom for Kelce, 36.
“And can you make those big ribs for Travis?” she asked Andrea, to which she responded, “I am making those ribs for Travis.”

Taylor then revealed Kelce’s funny nickname for the dish. “The ones he affectionately calls dinosaur bones,” she said.
“Texas-size ribs for a Texas-sized man,” Andrea added, referring to the NFL star, who is 6 feet, 5 inches tall.

Taylor and Kelce spent Thanksgiving together in 2024 along with both of their families as Taylor’s parents hosted the Kelces in Nashville, a source previously told PEOPLE.
The insider said it was the couple’s “first Thanksgiving they celebrated together,” amid their busy schedules as Taylor was performing on her Eras Tour in South Africa the year before. The couple started dating in the summer of 2023.
"Taylor and her family were excited to host the Kelces this year," the source told PEOPLE. “[Travis' brother] Jason [Kelce] was there with his family and kids too. It was very festive and special."
In a previous episode of The End of an Era docuseries, Taylor shared how she used to find it difficult balancing her relationships and tour life, but that all changed when she started dating Kelce.
“Relationships on tour has always been something I’ve really struggled with because it’s always felt like the tour was taking away from the relationship,” she said. “Somehow, I was not able to do both and feel like I was nurturing both at the same time, even though I would try and try and try and try."
