“The Kardashians” Returns with Bizarre New AI Intro: ‘Wait a Minute, Are We AI?’

Season 8 of The Kardashians premiered Thursday, Oct. 8, on Hulu
The episode began with AI introductions of Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner before the real versions of the women arrived to confront the AI characters
“Honestly, sweeties, we think you guys are great, but AI is much easier,” the AI version of Kris informed the family
The Kardashians made a statement against AI in the season 8 premiere of their Hulu reality show.
The episode, which debuted on Thursday, Oct. 8, began with an individual introduction to each of the family members from a fabulous international destination, starting with Kris Jenner sipping a martini on a yacht in St. Tropez. Kourtney Kardashian was next up, in Japan with husband Travis Barker, followed by Khloé Kardashian on safari with two hot tour guides in Kenya. Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner were next up at a party in Versailles, and Kim Kardashian was last from a ski chalet in Switzerland.
The family then all reconvened in Calabasas to start filming a new season of the reality show, but they each started to have issues with their appearances, starting with an oversized eye for Khloé, a swollen ear for Kim and then Kylie grew a tail.
Everything changed as the real Kris, Kourtney, Khloé, Kim, Kendall and Kylie walked into the room and stood face-to-face with the AI versions of themselves, all of which were glitching. “Wait a minute, are we AI?” Kim, 45, asked. “Have we been AI this whole time?”
“I think we would know if we were AI, Kimberly,” Kourtney, 47, said.

The AI version of Kris then informed the family why AI was the better option for the show. “Honestly, sweeties, we think you guys are great, but AI is much easier. We don’t have scheduling conflicts, no glam is necessary and we can cry on cue without messing up our makeup.”
“I don’t know who you think you’re talking to,” Kris, 70, responded, “But this real family — real family — cannot be replaced.”

“We don’t need AI when we have this reality,” Kim agreed.
The AI versions of them then melted away as Khloé, 42, hit the “kill switch” for them. “I think it’s time for these AI bitches to go,” she said, and Kris flipped them off as they melted.
“AI could never replace us,” Kourtney declared before the title card displayed, “The Kardashians: AI Could Never.”
