When the Tennessee Titans hit the practice field on Wednesday to start preparations for their Week 5 matchup with the Houston Texans, they welcomed back one of the players they placed on injured reserve at the cut-down deadline: cornerback Joshua Williams.
The Titans opened Williams' 21-day practice window, meaning he could return to the lineup as early as Sunday if he is fully recovered from the pec injury that he aggravated during training camp.
The Titans brought in Williams as a free agent to add some size and depth to their secondary, but have yet to see him fully healthy. The veteran cornerback came from the Kansas City Chiefs and is a valuable backup and special teamer, though he battled injuries and was limited to only 17 snaps for Kansas City in 2025.

Williams now has three weeks to get back into form and join the Titans’ secondary rotation behind Cor’Dale Flott and Alontae Taylor on the outside, while adding an experienced body to a special teams unit that could use a boost.
The Titans will return to the field on Thursday to continue preparations for the battle with the Texans.
