A Cowboys loss that left Dallas fuming gave one fan a very different kind of night, and she made sure a local reporter knew it on live television.
After Thursday's 24-16 defeat to the winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jeff Kolb of Fox 4 in Dallas was delivering a live report from the field at AT&T Stadium.
He was trying to explain how the Cowboys lost to a team starting an undrafted rookie quarterback, Jalon Daniels, and he had just turned to the topic of Dak Prescott and the questions about his hand. A female fan wandered into the shot with a simple message. It comes after a Cowboys stadium employee hit Prescott with a brutal one-word verdict.

"You are so cute," she said.
Kolb lost his train of thought on the spot, saying, "I'm being intercepted out here mid-show. I guess there goes the train of thought, right Mike? Back to you."

The timing made the moment even better. Prescott had been asked after the game about his right hand, which was wrapped following last week's win over the Houston Texans, but it was not bandaged Thursday.
"There is absolutely nothing wrong with my hand," Prescott said. Prescott was not on the injury report heading into the game, so the question had been one of the biggest talking points for local reporters in the postgame hours.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was seen slamming his hand on the table in his suite after Prescott's final pass deflected off the hands of tight end Jake Ferguson and was intercepted by Buccaneers linebacker Alex Anzalone.
Jones later called the loss "extraordinarily disappointing." He added, "This is very disappointing, and I know it's disappointing to our home crowd — it is to me."

Prescott's night did not end on the field either. As he walked through the tunnel, a stadium worker said, "embarrassing," as he passed. Prescott was caught on video telling a Cowboys employee, "Tough guy. Get his ass out of here." He later explained, "If you're saying it's embarrassing, say it's embarrassing. If you're saying it to me, then say it to me."
The loss dropped Dallas to 2-3 and was only the sixth time in franchise history the Cowboys lost to a team that started 0-4 or worse.
Bucky Irving ran for 165 yards and a touchdown, and Daniels threw for 189 yards and a score. Tampa Bay finished with 419 total yards to Dallas' 366.
Boos rained down in the third quarter, when the Buccaneers outscored the Cowboys 17-0, and the evening was grim for nearly everyone in the building. Kolb at least walked away with a compliment.
